Clóna Dairy is launching a new vitamin enriched milk, developed to support health and wellbeing and to provide a rich source of vitamins and other essential nutrients, including Vitamin D, recently highlighted as playing an important role in the fight against COVID-19.

Much of the Vitamin D our bodies need is produced when our skin is exposed to sunlight. However, in Ireland, due our northerly latitude and short winter days, many of us do not get enough sun to produce adequate supplies of this sunshine vitamin. Instead, we must rely on sources of Vitamin D in our food and in supplements.

Clóna’s new Vitamin Enriched Milk uses some of Ireland’s finest milk, sourced from Cork Dairy herds and fortified with a Vitamin D, as well as A, E, B12, B2, Folic Acid and extra Calcium. Every 200ml glass contains 4μg of Vitamin D or 80% of your RI (Reference Intake of an average adult).

Available in shops from the 12th of April.
