National Dairy Councils HealthFest 2021

Last month Clóna participated in the National Dairy Councils HealthFest 2021. This was a free virtual event tailored to teenagers, featuring experts in the areas of nutrition, exercise and mental wellbeing. On the day nearly 9000 students and teachers from around Ireland signed into to a virtual exhibition hall and got to listen to some amazing speakers and interact directly with Diary Producers like us.

Doireann Garrihy was the MC on the day and there was a work-out with Greg O’Shea,  expert health, exercise and nutrition advice from Professor Niall Moyna and Dr. Caoileann Murphy and talks on a healthy mind from Dermot Walsh and Paul Gilligan. Clóna was delighted to be able to be involved in such an innovative and interesting event and got chatting to lots of students from around the country on all things dairy.
